wow....with these resting days at home, i have finished reading "when genius failed" it's really a good book and the author, roger lowenstein, is an amazing story-teller (i think he was formerly a journalist) i love the story of Long Term Capital Management. though i've just heard of them when i took the frm exam...but their composition of genius (including those infamous cornerstones of modern finance like Merton Miller and Myron Scholes.....u've properly took some study on Black-Scholes-Merton formula in option pricing if u are a business students) really aroused my interest to take a deep look of the ups and downs of the hedge fund they built up in 90's.
really thanks mike suggesting me this book in ur list and i am going to the third one in ur list, i.e. "an accidental investment banker" |
