| monkey business |
finished "Monkey Business" it's a good book in a sense that it told me i am not the only person in a profession in which almost all of the participants hated the job itself the most.
u know what. most of our clients' staff (usually are those "accountants, accounting clerks, accounting managers, etc...) think that we are earning more money than they do, wearing top brandings of suits, with cuff links like LV, Gucci, Burberry...and they dont even care we are all damn nighters, working 15 hours 7 days on those stupid working papers, being bullied by those stupid managers. and actually we hate the job ourselves (though there should be some exceptions). but who really cares us?!
and we auditors, some of us dreaming to be one of those investment bankers, like the authors of "monkey business" were. and we jealous of their huge amount of earnings and bonus, toppest brandings of suits like Farragamo, Bally, Hermes...and we dont care about they are working 20 hours 7 days with those dumb vice presidents and managing directors.....and they also hate their jobs
hahaha......it's karma... whatever, i dont really care i am working audit or investment banking... i just wanna do whatever i want. |
